PONT Systems Ltd., which is an IBM partner in Hungary, was named the 30th fastest growing high-tech firm in Central and Eastern Europe and the 5th fastest growing Hungarian firm in a Deloitte survey. With this result, the company was added to the list of fastest growing technology companies in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).

The goal of the Technology Fast 50 competition—which has been organized by Deloitte for more than ten years and comprises sixteen countries from the Balkans to the Baltic Sea—is to acknowledge the fastest growing companies, whose outstanding performances contribute to the development of the whole region. The rating of the thousands of participants is always based on the growth of their turnover over the past five years. To be considered, companies had to meet requirements like having an annual turnover of at least 50,000 euros, having their headquarters located in Central Europe, and developing their own technology.

PONT Systems Ltd. was founded in 1996 and delivers document and workflow management solutions with software support. This was the first year that the company participated in the competition and due to its 299 percent growth in turnover between 2002 and 2006, it was ranked as the 30th fastest growing high-tech company in the region. The development of the company has been uninterrupted from the beginning. In 1997, which was the first complete financial year, the company had a positive balance. Over the next nine years we managed to increase tenfold the turnover of the first year and our staff of three has become a software development company with fourty employees. The key to this successful growth is the devotion of our highly trained experienced professionals and their willingness to learn, our flexibility, and the high quality technology that we develop. Our success is especially due to our reliable and high quality work, which enabled us to partner with IBM since the beginning. We obtained our ISO 9001 certificate in 2003 in the area of software development and consulting. Our success is also due to our customer oriented philosophy, which helped us find the most efficient and unique solutions for our many clients, which include Budapest Bank, Inter-Európa Bank, Budapest Airport, Dunaholding Rt., Amstel, Coca-Cola, Bonduelle, Danone, Unitis – Municipality of Kecskemét, Egis Rt., Hungarian Patent Office, Borsodchem, Leaseplan, and Festo.
